Although the show is on Sunday and Monday we traditionally attend on the Monday. We will try and secure the spot in the back right corner we have used before. If you haven't visited Thoresby recently then bear in mind we are not in the cricket field in front of the hotel but a little bit further up the road on the site that was used by the famous Thoresby market some years ago.
"The Management" will be organising the gazebo and mashing facilities as we have done in the past, please bring your own chairs. If you have spare cakes and buns Tony Hodgson can always find room.
Those of you who attended the show last August will remember the Porsche embedded in the scenery on the road outside the entrance/exit to the show. This together with the idiotic driving displayed by some of the participants almost guarantees a heavy police presence, which will likely involve safety camera vans, please drive in an appropriate manner when travelling to and from the show.
The ticketing arrangements have gone back to near normal this year after being turn-up on the day, pay your £5 and park up for the last few shows. I did consider a group purchase of tickets but the deadline to get the super cheap entry tickets is almost upon us and quite frankly I don't then have to distribute the tickets collect money etc. If this seriously inconveniences anyone please message one of the management team direct and one of us will resolve.
To get the discount rate of £5 you now have to book online BEFORE 15th April. If you book on or after the 15th April but BEFORE the 13th, May you will be charged £8. This will allow entry for a vehicle and two adults.
If you book online on or after the 13th May or turn up on the day you will be charged the general admission rate of £7 per adult and £3 per child.
The clue here is to book early and buy online, the website is below.
